Ymirea is the setting of a tabletop roleplaying game played in Kristiansand on Monday nights from 1730 to 2100.
The current setting is loosely based on late medieval western Europe, roughly 1400 AD. The campaign takes place in the kingdom of Avation, at the southwestern tip of the continent of Terra Borealis, at the rim of the Ocean of Lost Souls, in the 659th decade of the 6th Age.
Ymirea was previously played in Bergen for five years. I wish to thank my players for putting up with all of my foibles for all those years. Fond thoughts also go to my players in Rogaland, way back when.
This world is my magnus opus, it has been under construction for a decade.
I have roleplayed for 15 years and written up fantasy worlds for about 20 years. It seems unlikely that I will cease playing soon.
