Princess Roxanne of Tiragon

Roxanne is a young shieldmaiden, 5' 10'', with milky white skin and long, curly red hair. She is lithe and well-trained, less buxom than Frankish standards dictate for true beauty. Her face, however, is pleasant enough, with a fine, narrow nose and full lips. Her large eyes have navy blue irises. Her eyebrows are arched, as if in constant surprise.

Roxanne has shown no command of the Frankish tongue, but she speaks a good, if rather archaic, Cargan.

Lately one has come to suspect that Princess Roxanne is an elf, and the sister of Prince Serendipius

When found, Roxanne was wearing a light bronze corselet, with relief work of strange flowers, enameled in many colours. She wore a maching closed-face helmet with a rich panache. She otherwise wore decorated leather clothing, and carried a short bronze glaive, with a richly carved shaft.

Princess Roxanne was first encountered by Sir Jacques-Alphonse, Sir Patric and the Valsangé forester. She was at the time scaling a cliff wall to get away from a hobgoblin.

During the subsequent fight, she took a near-fatal blow from the hobgoblins glavelot, and she is presumably still recovering.

When brought back to the local castle, the senile Baron Ariste Sr. accused her of "bringing the ancient battle within his walls". Cornelius tells that he at a later time attempted to strangle her.

When last heard of, Roxanne was in the protective custody of the Valsangés, held within a chamber in the old tower, and permitted no visitors except Lady Belinda and a few others.
