Farrand

A sanguine man, blue-eyed and red-haired. Stocky and of average height, his physiognomy marks him indelibly as a commoner. His hands are broad and shortfingered, and his body is roped with strong muscle and he moves deftly. Farrand has a Van Dyke beard, and his hair falls to his shoulders when not in a ponytail. His facial hair is a darker hair than the rest. His accent marks him as a man of the Confederacy, more precise ears will know him to be an Algican.

Farrand's harness seems the sole remarkable thing about him. He wears of viridian plate armour, trimmed with spikes and thorny projections. The discerning eye will note that the armour seems crafted from green metal, rather than being enameled. He bears a broadsword and a roundel in his belt. Farrand usually wears a broad-brimmed, high-crowned hat when not in combat.

Easy-going and familiar, Farrand borders on presumption in his interaction with those of better blood. He shows a great interest in wealth, wine and women. Farrand is the companion and brother-in-arms of Pierre Dupont, and seems to alternately venerate and patronize him. He also seems to know Paulus Varro fairly well.
