Fair Ocean

The Fair Ocean laps the eastern coast of Terra Centralis and is hedged on the northern and western side by Terra Borealis. It is less tempestuous than the Boreal Ocan and the Ocean of Lost Souls, and this has earned it its name

The currents of the Fair Ocean are rich with life, but the catches never come close to those of the Sea of Bounty.

The Fair Ocean has its alotment of storms, but the greater risks of traversing it is suffering attacks from orca, whalefish or pirates. Most notorious are the goblin slaver-pirates, sailing the sea in fleets of small, fast ships, tearing into a whalefish and a merchantman with equal ferocity and greed.

Traditionally, the Cargan navy patroled all shipping lines on the Fair Ocean. These days, they make but token efforts at protecting the eastern shipping lines, concentrating their efforts on protecting the coast of the empire and with it the north-south shipping lines.
