Pacar
Pacar is a fairly pastoral country to the north of the Mare Interior, fairly flat, with slight hills and rises breaking the plainland. Most of the land is both cultivated and irrigated, there are orchards and fields rather than forests and plains.
Pacar's northern border is towards the elven forest, Syoshamral. The elves kill anybody who transcends this border. Eastwards lies Algica, and westwards Avation.
Pacar's human populace is Frankish, apart from them, a sizable minority of gnomes live in the land.
While generally more peaceful than their neighbours, the Pacarines are skilled archers, and compete with Avatines for the honour of being the greatest among the Franks.
The Pacarine economy depends mainly on farming, its soil is fertile, the weather mild. Grain, vegetable, fruit, flowers and mushrooms are all grown, and the country exports foodstuffs to its neighbours.
There are some limestone quarries, but otherwise few minerals of value have been found. Clay is dug and burned into brick. While the northern border is heavily wooded, the country has very limited logging potential.
The capital and greatest city of Pacar is Bujon.
The King of Pacar is Lothin V. He and Queen Mathilda are just and beloved. The Dauphin's name is Tristan.
Pacar, while not a small country, is lesser in size and power than its neighbours. After the fall of the Cargan empire, the first king of Pacar immediately had to fight off an Avatine invasion, and Pacar's independence was only secured after much silver and sizable lands had been given to the Avatine monarch.
