Bôtheria is the northernmost of the Cargan provinces. Seen with Cargan eyes, Bôtheria is a lush, green and wild country. It has the last sizeable forests remaining in the empire, and the high peaks of the White Mountains are always snowy.
Like Erdania, Bôtheria is a border province. Bôtheria is the sole remaining province north of the Mare Interior, and at times it has been aggressively attacked by Bôthers and Logesians, countless Cargan youths have died here, to secure the Primarch's control of the silver mines, the shipyards and the slave trade.
In the days of yore, Bôtheria's borders crept north at a glacial pace, fighting countless wars with the Bôths and retaining slightly more than was lost. Now the trend seems to be reversed, and Bôtheria is slowly turned into fiefs for Bôthic kings.
Unlike the hearltland cities, the settlements of Bôtheria are surrounded by walls and moat.
The Silver Mines
On the eastern slopes of the White Mountains, the rich silver mines of Bôtheria turn out many tons of pure, white silver every year. These mines are the personal property of the Primarch, and the silver is minted into Cargan denari.
