The De la Tourvieille Family

The family of la Tourvieille are bannerets, of an old and well-respected family. Their fortunes had long been waning, until the current Banneret made a marriage which refilled the family coffers, but left them eager to reaffirm their nobiliy and virtue.

The Tourvieilles all have straight noses, brownish-red hair and freckles.

There are three Tourvieilles living at the manse, Banneret George, his sister Arietta, as well as an aunt who moved in with them after the death of their parents. The parents, as well as the paternal grandmother died during the maggot sickness recrudescence in '85.

Banneret George is a handsome man in his late twenties. He inherited land and title twenty years earlier than the norm, only a couple of years after earning his spurs. Banneret George is amicable and his ambitions seem modest. His one remarkable act is marrying Carmen.

Dame Carmen is the daughter of a wealthy Senine merchant, and she brought much-needed funds to the Tourvieille family. She claims to be descended from a Clemencian Baron.

The Banneret's younger brother, Sieur Tauron, is a rider of the Company of the Cyclops Dragon. He is famous for his valour, good fortune and forthright thought and manner.

The fourth Tourvieille, Belinetta (a girl of 16), is being fostered by the Molagnes.

The Tourvieilles are by tradition hateful of magic. This loathing of course leave them more vulnerable to epidemics and other dangers.
