The Count would have been a quite tall man, were it not for his hunch, but due to this deformity, he stands but 5' 8'' tall. In addition to being hunchbacked, the Count is fairly ugly, having a broad, flat face, buck teeth, a single, bushy black eyebrow, and large hands. This has earned him the nickname "l'Ogier".
The Count is shy and elusive, not letting many people close to himself.
The Count had a brief stint as a military captain, but his performance was unremarkable, and he soon retired, claiming health problems.
