The Condy family is an old and proud family. They make much of the charters they have been given by kings to uphold the borders of the realm. The Condies have always given Terminus his due, and more, some say. However, their creed seems a little less all-encompassing than that of the Arch-Duke.
Traditionally the Condies have been faithful servants of the king, receiving much of their land in fief directly from him. With the Regent on the throne they have cast their lot with the Arch-Duke, whether from righteousness or compulsion.
The Condies are nick-named geese, a name that seems derived from their crest. Though not looking much like waterfowl, There is something decidedly birdlike about the Condies, they have long legs, large bodies, narrow necks, small heads and aquilline noses - the latter said to come from Cargan blood which entered their bloodline in Imperial times.
