The Swinedancer Brigade are counted among the largest and most successful condottos. Their badge is an armoured man leading a sow in dance. They proclaim often and loudly that this represents their double tragedy of having to "dance" with clumsy subhumans and then having nought to bed but foul foreign whores.
The Swinedancers are predominantly Clemencians and Senines, but like any other permanent mercenary group, they have interbred with whores of nine nations, and at least half have some Boreal blood.
The Swinedancers' core force is heavy infantry, mostly halberdiers. These are supported by arbalesters and jinettes. Their reputation is good, for a mercenary company, being well-trained and relatively disciplined.
