Lady Erembourg of Hamvalle is the wife of Lord Tancred. She is the mistress of the Marquis's household.
Sir Fromodin is a knight from the lowlands, on a permanent sojourn at the Marquis's court. He is a former pupil of the Marquis, and seeks to learn of the mettle of the Hamvalleans. Sir Fromodin is respected by Lord Tancred and Lady Erembourg for his refinement and insight.

Dame Heloise (b. 6573) is a grandchild of the Baron of Flonde. She is a tall girl, with a strong jawline, and curly, reddish-brown hair. She has a pleasant, if somewhat irreverent, demeanor.
