Social Contract

Hygiene and Physical Matters

You will keep yourself reasonably clean, and to dispose of your own trash. You will respect the personal space of other members of the group.

Courtesy

You will be civil to the other members of the group. A certain level of verbal skirmishing is accepted and even encouraged, but only so far as it is mutually enjoyed.

The group will try to implement house rules and the GM prefers collective rulings rather than speaking ex cathedra. However, his rulings need be respected when made.

If you are so uncomfortable with the game system or setting as to make this a constantly recurring topic, you might want to play in a different group.

You will not attempt to use the game for leverage in the real world, nor the real world for leverage in the game.

Attendance

The group will play on a fixed day of the week, and hopes to be able to game on 70% of the possible days

If you cannot attend 2/3 or more of the scheduled gaming sessions (> twice per month), sadly, you do not have time to be part of the group. If this is a group problem, then we need to reconsider our schedule. An appointment to game is as committing as any other appointment.

You should notify both GM and other players regarding your attendance two days in advance at the latest. Preferably this should be done using the rpgymir group calendar, if this is difficult, by email to the group. Phone calls should be last resort. SMS even more so.

Being tired is perfectly good reason not to attend, however, if you are constantly too tired to play, then you may consider taking a break from the game. You will be welcomed back.
